SERIES 1

Series 1 introduces the first 44 sounds that all readers of English need to learn.

The sounds are split into 11 groups and are introduced in a systemic and scaffolded way. This ensures that new readers can learn and apply their new learning immediately, which accelerates reading capability and builds reading confidence.

Fun and relatable characters are introduced and repeated throughout the series which helps to form familiarity for new readers as well as building intrigue as to what the characters will do next. This in turn encourages them to want to learn to read so they can tackle the next book.    ï»¿

Also on the back cover there is the sound group table as shown above. This also shows which sound group is being introduced, as well as sound groups already learned and sound groups yet to come.
